JAKU. Matcha is a premium, ceremonial grade matcha made of first-flush, single-cultivar Okumidori leaves from Wazuka, Uji, Japan. Our single-origin matcha has been produced in partnership with Nakai Organic, a family-run tea farm that pioneered organic tea farming in the Uji region. The 350-year-old estate produces shade-grown, first-flush leaves that are carefully harvested, then stone-milled in micro-batches, with great care for tradition and quality. This matcha features a balanced flavor profile with a subtle silky vanilla-floral sweetness and hints of warm chestnut.
